Although this article only addresses the need for PE classes in our education system, continuing a healthy lifestyle with physical activities when you are older is probably just as important. This is my hypothesis. Although your weight will never predetermined how smart you are, it never hurts to fuel your body with good food and proper exercise to ensure its maintenance.
I’m no nutritionist, but “people are what they eat.” If you load your body down with only trans fats and no vitamins, your mind and body will not be able to function properly. Imagine your body and mind as an engine, and if you only supply it with cheap gas with lots of ethanol when your car needs premium gas, you are bound to encounter some problems and breakdowns.
